Today I cruised south to the beach location of the infamous full moon party, Haad Rin, which is supposedly the biggest party on the planet. This month the full moon is on the 27th, so I need to settle on the half moon party in the jungle which is this Friday. I learned that a “bucket’ which is basically one large mixed drink in a bucket is a popular thing here.  Cheap and powerful.

Last night I also received a message from the owner of the house where I am renting a studio apt. that the bank foreclosed on the house and needed to be out by Monday. Oh, and due to the weather freeze some water pipes ruptured sending water into my basement room. Apparently it is not a pretty sight, although thankful as none of my stuff was damaged. So, an emergency plan has been formulated to get my stuff out and into a storage unit.  Fun times!
