Railey Beach

A quick breakfast and off to Railey Beach I go.  It’s a funky area just around the corner from Ao Nang and the only way to get there is via long tailed boat.  During the day it is swarming with tourists, but at night it calms down a bit more and was the isolated retreat I was looking for.  This beach is inaccessible to cars and scooters, so it’s a very chill rasta-Thai vibe.  It’s is also known for it’s amazing rock climbing due to the large limestone rocks everywhere but I sliced my finger a little bit on some coral when on Koh Tao – so i’ll do something else for now.

As I arrived a bit too late for the afternoon tours, I decided to rent a kayak and explore the karst coastline.  It was pretty legendary to say the least.  I’ll let the pictures do the speaking.
