Last day on Phangan – heading to Koh Tao

Today was my last day on Koh Phangan. I will be leaving with a smile on my face knowing that this island will always live in my heart as a special place. Pure paradise.

After checkout, I hung by the pool using the WiFi before my taxi took me to the ferry where I was going to check out the diving paradise of Koh Tao.

The day was overcast and stormy, so the seas were angry which made for a rough boat ride for some. I did ok, but others…not so much.  You get the drift.

After landing on Koh Tao I rented a scooter right away and set out to find my new bungalow. After a few inquirys I headed down a jungle path towards a souther beach area know for diving and snorkeling. At first I was sure it was another dead end and a lost cause. The sunset was near and it would get dark soon.  While looking for one place, fate eventually presented me with the area I came to reside, Sunset Point.  Perfect.

Today was also moving day. My favorite people in the whole world saved my ass and got my stuff to safety. I owe them so much. It’s amazing to have friends support you so much like that. I am blessed. I guess the move went well, so now I am officially homeless with no place to call home and technically no mailing address either…humm…I think I need to fix that tomorrow. Anyway, it’s a strange feeling yet liberating at the same time.  Everything is as it should be and i’ll end up where I’m intended to be.
